A powerhouse in both academics and co-curricular activities has maintained its good performance for quite some time,and a good example is the results for the last two years which has seen the mean score improve gradually.
In 2024 KCSE results the school produced 3 A- ,9 B+, 22 B, 59 B-,and 84 C+ with a mean score of 6.6182 sending 178 students to join universities. This is an improved number from last year’s joining university and the highest ever experienced as compared to the 2023 number of 160. Low cadre grades have reduced, thanks to all the stakeholders for having helped in the improvement.
Principal Cheti Mariciana joined the school in 2023 and she has inculcated the school’s vision that produces intellectually developed, socially, adaptable, spiritually, inspired morally upright individuals.

She added that the A- grades have been elusive for the last 4 years since 2019, but these quality grades are now being realized especially from the 2 years’ performances of 2023 and 2024 KCSE respectively.

In the last 2 years the principal together with the supportive BOM members have constructed a storey building housing 4 laboratories and 4 classrooms completed and in use,re-roofed all classes and dormitories giving the school a facelift, purchased a 67 seater Scania bus, erecting a perimeter wall almost completed and improved sanitation facilities with tiling toilets and latrines. ” We have terrazzo in the dining hall and decorated our pavements with flowers and academic signage all over the compound,” highlighted madam Cheti.
” ABN is a powerhouse in co-curricular activities in talent nurturing a good example in soccer that has competed Nationally and internationally. A good number of our girls both under 17 and 19 have joined national team and represents the country at different levels across the world like in China, Spain, Turkey and Angola,” principal gave a parting shot.
In 2023, they were crowned the county champions in soccer.
