Okiya omtatah to support education reforms when he clinges the presidency in 2027

Busia senator, Hon. Omtatah who is among the presidential candidates come 2027 speaking in Shinoyi location, kakamega county promised to support education reforms when he clinges the presidency and fight for human rights and will honour humanity.

He was attending funeral at Shinoyi,where his brother- in- law, Rodney sakwa was laid to rest.

The senator promised to lower the high living standards being experienced and encouraged the working class to keep fighting the hard economic pandemics through prayers and hope,which come from the huge deductions they get from their payslips, until when he becomes the president who will reclaim them back to normalcy.

Kajiado county KUPPET executive secretary, Mr Zadock Kisienya, thanked Kenya national examinations council,(KNEC) for the timely release of KCSE exams and applauded many schools across the country that did well including,St.John’s Shinoyi secondary school.

Kisienya revealed that he will continue fighting for teachers’ rights especially at this trying moments, where principals are expected to produce good results and yet no capitation coming hence forth from the ministry of education which has been the norm for delaying early and timely release of money to schools.

He added that as a union, they will mobilize teachers to vote for truthful leaders who will safeguard the country’s interests and endorsed Omtatah’s candidature which was well received ,upon cheers and clapping.
