Lurambi MP Titus Khamala launches a whopping 55 million for bursaries

The Lurambi constituency member of parliament, Bishop Titus Khamala has unveiled NG-CDF kitty bursaries fund worth 55 million shillings to cater for the needy students who come from vulnerable and humble backgrounds from the constituency in kakamega county.

Addressing parents at Shieywe secondary school during an official launch of endowment fund/Annual general meeting, MP Khamala said that during this financial year he has malgamated bursaries for the needy students who are over 11 thousand in number for both day and boarding. Each will get 5 thousand when second term begins.

“Both Day scholars and boarders will share equal amount of 5 thousand shillings and I expect them to work hard like Anti-worms,” said Khamala.

He called upon parents to pull up their socks through fee payment which has been neglected even though times are hard.
