A fast growing learning institution strategically placed along Bukura-Sabatia/Butere Highway is in a serene ambient environment suitable for improved performance a good example from the 2024 KCSE results.

38 students qualified for university undergraduate courses and the 3 streams sub-county school had an improved mean score of 5.53(C) from the 118 candidates ranking among the most improved from Butere sub-county.

Principal Alice Andanje a teacher of Geography and Kiswahili lead by example and her subjects are among the top in mean scores. A soft spoken but firm and steady administrator has guided the school into fruition and is optimistic in elevating the school into among the best in the region and beyond the country’s periphery.
She called upon parents to embrace learning and support their children who are working hard to improve in studies.

” May I call upon all parents to support these bright and talented students who are soon putting this school on the national map,” reminiscences the principal.
The day and boarding girls school is keen on discipline and don’t condone any aspect of indiscipline. A factor which has vehemently improved performance tremendously.

This year’s candidates are 105 who are burning midnight oil in achieving set target of 6.0 and they already completed syllabus in April only to embark on thorough and intensive revision and testing for both internal and external exams across the country.
The Catholic sponsored school celebrated the good results recently and st Patrick Lufumbo parish priest Rev. Fr .Dr. Maurice Erambo conducted a thanksgiving mass which brought many souls closer to God and left behind a message of hope and restoration.

Erambo urged students to move away from the comfort zone and remain focused. He added that all students should deviate away from vices which eventually leads to illicit relationships before the ripe time.
” May I remind parents to help teachers in realizing dreams and potential of these students. 80% of students’ failure is contributed by parents. Wake up from your sleep and invest in the learning of your children if you want to enjoy your future life. Pay fees and give support to these teachers because even the Bible says that the more you give the more you receive,” preached the Fr.

The positive attitude and collaboration among teachers for a common goal has led to improved performance. Programs begin at 4:30 AM and ends at 10 PM and best performers both students and teachers are awarded after every examination’s release.

Parents association chair Moses Anyangu and outgoing BoM vice chair Judith Lubanga said that the school has improved both in academics and infrastructure and has plans in completing an ongoing teachers’ quarter project.
They called on the area MP to help the school get enough space for expansion.

Deputy principal Namai Beatrice said that there is a vibrant guiding and counselling department which works closely with the discipline committee mandated in shaping the future of students’ morals.
Butere sub-county director of education William Ochieng said that the school will offer STEM and social sciences as from next year for the CBE implementation.
Allan Oloo Odhiambo motivational speaker encouraged students to work hard and reap the benefits in future and told them to prepare for the CBE even though everyone is still confused with the limited capitation disbursed by the ministry of education.
